Christopher Lazzaro is the founder and CEO of MetaMythic, where his team is recognized internationally for thought-leadership in the cyber-security and human performance spaces. MetaMythic’s CIP Defender cyber-security awareness product has won four international awards for advancing the state of the art in training content, technology, and compliance. Christopher is a requested keynote speaker, presenting at twelve national cyber-security, human factors, and human performance conferences. These awards and speaking engagements are the result of MetaMythic’s celebrated Applied Fiction methodology that uses immersive storytelling to smash typical 5-15% training engagement levels, frequently attaining 85% or higher.
Christopher enjoys living in multiple parallel universes. In one, he invents the Applied Fiction method of learning and co-founds MetaMythic to help organizations transform their employees. In another, he directs an IT organization at Associated Electric Cooperative where his teams lead the technology that operates a three-state power grid, fourteen power plants, and a commercial power sales division. In parallel universe #3, he provides product development and lean business strategy coaching to startups in the Midwest. In a final universe, Christopher was adjunct professor for five years, teaching and developing the business programming curriculum at Drury University’s Breech School of Business.
